Agenda: 2023 KPMG Global Transfer Pricing Forum

Transfer pricing is one of the top issues for business leaders, tax administrators and policy makers. It is important to come together, as we navigate 2023 and look ahead. We are delighted to invite you to attend the 2023 Global Transfer Pricing Forum, immediately following the 2023 KPMG EMA Tax Summit. We will open with a welcome reception on Wednesday, 13 September, and follow with our program on Thursday, 14 September.

BEPS continues to reshape the international tax landscape and the practical implications are already being felt. With increased transparency demands, unilateral actions in many countries, and an increase in technology available to tax authorities, transfer pricing disputes are on the rise. This is the backdrop tax departments face while at the same time being pushed to become more and more efficient and do more with less. During this event we will discuss:

  • How business interruptions are affecting transfer pricing
  • Merging transfer pricing compliance with automation progress
  • Fresh approaches to developing dispute resolution strategies
  • Operationalizing transfer pricing to make your processes and technology future ready

The 2023 Global Transfer Pricing Forum will empower you to explore where you are, where you want to be, and the opportunities you have as a transfer pricing function.
We look forward to welcoming you to Berlin.

Data Matters! TP Processes and Digitization

Solid data is the cornerstone of a sound transfer pricing policy. It sits at the heart of intercompany processes and intersects with many other critical business processes. Incomplete data pulled together manually and delivered late can have far reaching adverse implications.

Increased demands for complete, accurate, and timely data has made your transfer pricing compliance process and operational transfer pricing (OTP) more valuable than ever!

      Future of Business Reorganisations

In today’s global marketplace, companies are faced with an almost constant pressure to change and adapt. BEPS for example, continues to reshape the international tax landscape and the practical implications are already being felt. Companies will need to reorganize their organizations to create the right structure to meet these challenges, provide flexibility to help address future risks and compete in the new normal. Taking a structuring project from concept to plan, and from plan to implementation can be complex and daunting. But being able to do this in a structured, agile, data driven way is increasingly an edge in business. We show you how. During this session the panellist will show you how technology is bringing simplicity, and pace to the complexities and business of global reorganizations.
