The 2024 KPMG EMA Tax Summit will be a unique gathering that brings together Heads of Tax from around the world to share ideas and discuss approaches to challenges faced by tax leaders of major multinational organizations.

We will be joined by notable speakers from the world of geopolitics and tax policymaking, with representation from the OECD, United Nations and the UAE Ministry of Finance; as well as leaders in the rapidly evolving space of generative artificial intelligence (AI).

Among the topics that will be covered at the Summit, speakers will explore where global tax policy is heading next, how to make AI work for tax, and how to build a future-ready tax function.

The Summit’s design will encourage interaction, networking, and the exploration of practical approaches. In addition to the big picture themes discussed in plenary sessions, delegates will have an opportunity to unpack the more technical matters of ESG, tax controversy, global minimum tax, operational transfer pricing, tax policy and the taxation of the digital economy in satellite technical sessions. Delegates may also explore pressing tax related developments through a sector lens by attending one of six sector insights sessions.
