The opening plenary session will explore how tax leaders are leveraging opportunities amid the complexities of an ever-changing tax landscape in Africa to propel their organizations forward, including harmonizing tax policies across borders, implementing Pillar 2, and the incentivization of innovation. |
The second plenary session will explore the power of collaboration in unlocking collective strength for more effective tax administration across Africa, with discussions on connecting tax to the business, sharing best practices and resources among African countries, partnerships between governments, the private sector, and international organizations, and the promotion of responsible tax practices for building trust. |
The final session will delve into the transformative power of technology and its role in enabling enhanced tax administration and compliance with a particular focus on technological innovation, data analytics and AI, and digital tax filing systems. |

The Summit is being designed to create opportunities for knowledge-building and networking in a variety of formats. Additional breakout sessions between plenaries will offer deep dive technical discussion on topics including optimizing the fax function, indirect tax, transfer pricing and tax incentives.
