Attractions

Paulista Avenue (Avenida Paulista)

Considered one of the main financial centers of the city, as well as one of its most characteristic tourist spots, the avenue reveals its importance, not only as an economic pole but also as a cultural and entertainment center.  If you wish to visit, please contact the Renaissance Concierge for further advice.

Ibirapuera Park (Parque Ibirapuera)

Ibirapuera is one of the first large urban parks in Brazil and famous for hosting numerous cultural spaces among its green areas. You can enjoy the sunset and great view of São Paulo City at Vista (https://vistasaopaulo.com.br/).  With free admission since 1954, the park opens daily between 5am in the morning and 11pm at night, depending on the gate.

Planetario do Ibirapuera 

The first planetarium in Brazil and Latin America. The planetarium is located around 5 minutes walk from the pedestrian Gate 10 of Ibirapuera Park, and is near to car parking at Gate 3.

Rua Oscar Freire

Oscar Freire Street is a tree-lined street stretching from Alameda Casa Branca to Avenida Doutor Arnaldo in the Jardins district of São Paulo. It was named after Oscar Freire de Carvalho, a physician and forensic medicine professor from Bahia, who helped develop the city's first morgue (Instituto Médico Legal).  According to Excellence Mystery Shopping International the Rua Oscar Freire is the 8th most luxurious street in the world and second in the Americas behind 5th Avenue in New York.

Vila Madalena Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is known for its bustling nightlife and its history as a center of São Paulo bohemian culture and art. The neighborhood is filled with dozens of art galleries and studios, an eclectic mix of restaurants and bars and a series of graffiti-covered streets and alleys.

Parque do Povo Mário Pimenta Camargo

The park sits in the neighborhood of Itaim-Bibi and is surrounded by the skyscrapers of the large Brazilian metropolis.   Visit the park to enjoy a nice walk or go for a run. There are  3 courts, bike paths, hiking trails, exercise equipment, and more.

Art Museum of São Paulo (Museu de Arte de São Paulo - MASP)

The Museu de Arte de São Paulo is a private, nonprofit museum founded by Brazilian businessman Assis Chateaubriand, in 1947, as Brazil’s first modern museum. It is an icon of the city of São Paulo.

The Football Museum is dedicated to the most different subjects involving the practice, history and curiosities revolving around football in Brazil and in the world.

Museu da Imagem e do Som

The Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) is a state public museum, linked to the Secretariat of Culture and opened in the year 1970.  Its main objective, from its inauguration to the present day, is to preserve and document the past and the present of art, image and sound, such as music, cinema, photography, graphic arts, etc. to provide a representation of Brazilian life in its human, social and cultural aspects.

Museum of the Abbey Saint Germain (Museu da Abadia São Geraldo)

The museum, inaugurated in December 1999, was created to preserve and disseminate the memory of the Hungarian Congregation of the Benedictine Order, present in Brazil since the 1930s with the arrival of the first monks.

Maria Luisa Foundation and Oscar Americano (Fundação Maria Luisa e Oscar Americano)

The Foundation was established in 1974 by engineer Oscar Americano. The following six years were dedicated to the remodelling of the old residence of the family, aiming to transform it into the present headquarters. Since 1980, architectural, landscape and artistic collections have become accessible to the public, becoming one of the most important cultural and leisure spaces in the city of São Paulo.

Shopping Pátio Paulista is located in one of the most famous avenues in the world. There are 276 stores of the most diverse segments.

JK Iguatemi Shopping

With 116,000 square meters of constructed area, the JK Iguatemi mall features around 180 designer stores and is today the main luxury shopping center of the city. The brands Daslu, Lanvin, Lacoste and Scarf Me, among many others, are part of the catalog of establishments of this empire.
